THE TEAM
ARC Lighting is full of experience. Our
core team is made up
of Terry Humphries (director), Wayne Duckett (director) &
Tony Woodhouse. Terry has over 35 years experience within
the electrical industry, owning a electrical wholesale business,
and now owning a nationwide electrical importing company –
Electrical Supply Corp. Wayne and Tony are our senior lighting
consultants who over the last 26 years have both owned their
own successful lighting companies and have worked for a number
of the major lighting companies.
Wayne’s main passion is architectural lighting while
Tony’s
key focus is commercial lighting, which brings a good balance
to the company. Both come to ARC with excellent reputations
and are highly regarded by the key consultants, architects
and lighting engineers. As a measure of Tony’s standing
in
the market he has held the position of chairman of IES –
Illuminating Engineering Society for the last 2yrs..
MARKETING
As within every industry, we understand the value of great
business partnerships. No company on its own can achieve
all the market potential without these strategic partnerships;
therefore, to ensure ARC can offer its suppliers maximum
market penetration and brand acceptance, ARC has formed a
relationship with CMS – Construction Marketing Services.
CMS has been established since 1985 and provides the key building
industry suppliers unique access to the building industry
decision makers, i.e. Architects, Project Developers, Project
Managers, Draughtsmen, Architectural Designers, Interior Designers,
Quality Surveyors and Builders etc through face to face interaction
and relationship marketing. CMS only represent 1 company in
each major product category and so ARC will be their only
lighting client.
The relationship with CMS also provides ARC with 3 x high
quality building industry focused show rooms in Auckland,
Wellington and Christchurch. These showrooms are focus centres
for the building industry where each client displays their
key products, as well as being used as training centres for
these industry professionals. These show rooms can also be
utilised by ARC lighting consultants for meetings with our
clients.
In addition CMS will be building a number
of top quality show homes throughout the country which gives
us another excellent opportunity to display suppliers products
direct to the market.
DISTRIBUTION
Having the right product is very important, but we believe
equally important is having the right distribution facilities.
Underpinning ARC’s sales and marketing is a modern paperless,
multiple order picking warehousing operation that ensures
maximum efficiency and gives an order deliverable accuracy
of 99.9%. ARC and Electrical Supply Corp have moved into new
2,500sq mtr purpose designed facilities that includes a lighting
showroom that showcases our lighting range.
